Context of role :

Conference Producers are at the forefront of the company and specialise in business research and project management. You will research and put together the intellectual content of conference programmes at the cutting edge of business strategy. You will be responsible for structuring the conference agenda as a result of live research with senior managers from a cross section of companies, selecting and inviting high level speakers, copy writing, designing the conference brochure and ensuring profitability of entire projects – from the initial idea to the smooth running of the event. Conference producers have a lot of budgetary control and you will be making financial decisions that will have significant bottom line impact. Throughout the production cycle you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure the best possible marketing campaign and with the Sponsorship Manager to put together an effective sponsorship strategy.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research (at least 80% of which should be on the telephone)

Create draft programmes from research transcribes which facilitate speaker/sponsor acquisition

Produce the marketing and sponsorship brief which allow your project team to work on the event

Manage the project team and ensure they are set up for success

Write the letters and brochures which are required to market each event

Brief and manage the delegate sales team

Run the event on-site and ensure that quality and value is delivered to all delegates

Global operational excellence management consulting firm is looking for a Director of Operations for its Brazilian office

The Director is responsible for leading all aspects of a consulting engagement to ensure consistent application of project management discipline and practices from initiation through project completion and close-out. The Director ensures the successful delivery of all project results while maintaining the relationship with clients, specifically senior and C-level executives. The Director could lead one or more projects simultaneously, with individual projects ranging from $2MM-$5MM.

Responsibilities:

· Develop/review project proposals and plans to determine timeframe, staffing requirements and resource allocation, project structure and implementation strategies and collaborate with Project Leadership to identify and mitigate project risks;

· Provide guidance to Project Manager in outlining work plans and assigning responsibilities and workstream scope and actively review status reports and modify schedules or plans as necessary;

· Establish and maintain effective client engagement with senior client team by addressing critical business imperatives and coaching to prepare senior client for project updates;

· Work closely with client senior management to help them gain new insight into key business improvement drivers and to better manage and evaluate business performance through the use of new and innovative methodologies;

· Effectively manage any conflicts and ensure timely resolution of issues that could affect project success;

· Actively monitor the delivery of project milestones and sustainable results to ensure that results are delivered on-time-in-full and within budget;

· Identify opportunities and actively participate in sales efforts and provide content knowledge for RFQ responses;

· Participate in or lead internal improvement initiatives as required and ensure team compliance to all internal policies and procedures;

· Participate in delivery of training programs and act as a mentor and coach for Operations professionals by providing performance feedback and support of their development plans in an effort to create a team environment where all consultants learn and develop their skills;

· Other responsibilities as necessary.

Note: This position requires 100% (Monday – Friday) overnight travel, mostly to client sites.

Competências e experiências desejadas

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in operations management or relevant experience, with 6+ years as an operations consultant. Demonstrated success of delivering sustainable financial and operational results, required. Expertise in two or more of the following areas required: Asset Management (Production/Maintenance execution), Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing. Candidates must be organized and have experience successfully managing complex projects, have solid knowledge of project management processes and methodologies and a focus on continuous process improvement. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor degree or higher and must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and relationship building skills are required. The ability to remain focused and flexible so as to successfully adapt to a variety of working environments and be able to engage and motivate individuals within all levels of an organization, is a must. Candidate must be able to speak Portuguese and English fluently.

The Global Commodity Management Sr Advisor - Brazil reports to a World Wide Procurement Director and is responsible for local Brazil production material sourcing decisions, cost negotiations, and strategic relationship management.

Roles and Responsabilities include but are not limited to:

Develops long-term Brazil local sourcing strategy and planning process (long-range roadmaps, capacity analysis, etc.)

Drives the analysis and negotiation of product cost and contracts. Develops and negotiates the Terms & Conditions of contracts

Tracks and monitors new technology development and local content requirements, and supports supplier integration with Dell strategy

Drives resolution for issues within the local commodity area as the relationship owner and key escalation point

Identifies and implements opportunities for supply chain optimization

Performs and communicates supply chain cost forecasting based on trend analysis and market conditions.

Manages, develops, releases RFQ to potential suppliers and drives business award decisions

Drives suppliers to improve overall scorecard performance, including cost, quality, COS, service

Leads Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with local Brazil suppliers

Aligns and maintains sourcing strategy with product roadmaps to achieve annual local content/PPB quota requirements

Contributes to New Product Introduction process from Brazil local supplier standpoint.

· Knows and understands the functionality of the WWP tools/processes that are appropriate for effectively performing responsibilities

Develops, manages, and implements key projects to achieve strategic initiatives


Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Electronics/IT related field

Strong hands-on experience with Electronics/IT Procurement environment

Thorough supplier management skills

Cost management and forecasting experience

Contract management / terms and conditions skills

Thorough program/project management skills

Good risk management skills

Six-sigma and/or BPI process training/background beneficial

Strong English communication skills required.

Boosted by Brazil's growth in internal consumption of fast moving consumer products, operations have been growing significantly, and we are currently recruiting a General Manager for their operations in Brazil.

The General Manager will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of our client's in Brazil. This will encompass profit and loss responsibility, including achievement of targeted return on capital, establishment of world class manufacturing practices, development and implementation of plans for future growth, development of a collaborative management team, and successful commercial development accompanied by outstanding customer service. The General Manager will also lead the commercial side of the business.

We are looking for a General Manager with strong operations experience, including proven ability to assess manufacturing processes and make changes to improve operational effectiveness. This will also require knowledge of world class lean and related manufacturing processes and experience in successfully leading implementation of those processes.

· University degree preferably in science, engineering,or business administration. World class MBA preferable.

· Bilingual with fluency in Portuguese and English. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus.

· Most likely to be a Brazilian with international experience or a foreigner with extensive work experience In the Brazilian marketplace and visa permit.

· Solid general management background and P&Lresponsibility with a minimum of ten years of experience in a technical environment.

· Experience in engineered materials, plastic products and/or world class processes with operational excellence.

· Knowledge of fast moving consumer products companies and other players in related product market segments.

· Experience in international finance, asset management and controlling.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for RIM and BlackBerry corporate reputation management and external communications in Brazil and communications support.
This position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Management of media and blogger relations

· Development of PR strategies aimed at delivering key messages for the strengthening of BlackBerry and RIM's brand value with all levels of stakeholders (end users, corporate clients, carriers, journalists, governments, partners, vendors, universities, RIM staff etc.)

· Crisis management

· Planning and implementation of product/service's launches, working in close collaboration with RIM's and carrier's marketing and sales teams

· Budget management

· Deal also with company's stakeholders mastering all the features of the BlackBerry handheld, software and application lines of business; elaborating reviewer's guides for journalists doing product evaluations, correcting technical aspects of press releases, giving tutorials about our products to journalists, celebrities and key influencers, training RIM spokespersons, writing on their behalf, identifying potential case studies to leverage the BlackBerry platform in different countries and in different business sectors; hosting agnostic and carrier sponsored press conferences in all the region; managing conflicts of interest.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

RIM is looking for a team member who makes productive contributions through talent, knowledge, skills and good working habits.
Specific qualifications include:

· Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communications, Literature, Business Management, Journalism and Public Relations.

· Past experience and proven success in corporate communications;

· Prior work and understanding of general corporate communications goals and imperatives

· Familiarity with technology and telecom issues

· Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese

· Past experience effectively managing communications agencies and Social Media knowledge

· Past experience communicating with many levels of stakeholders

· Must be capable of demonstrating strong diplomatic and critical listening skills

Core Responsibilities

1. Communication
• Maintains timely and effective communication among team members and site staff.

3. Monitoring

4. Data Handling

• Assures timely and accurate completion of Data Clarification Forms (DCFs).
• Performs clinical data listings reviews as needed.

5. Reporting and Tracking
• Completes and submits visit reports according to SOP/WI or sponsor requirements and requiring minimal revisions.
• Maintains awareness of key study performance indicators for own sites, e.g. TCRs, patient enrollment, SAEs.

• Updates study and patient status information and serves as (CTMS) resource for PM/LCRA.
• Tracks Investigator payments/ milestones, if requested.
• Documents and tracks the resolution of all outstanding site-specific protocol-related issues from visit to visit.

6. Administrative
• Prepares for and attends investigator’s meetings as requested. May present as requested.
• Assists with the preparation of study start up materials and tools, as requested.
• Attends clinical monitoring staff meetings, project team meetings, clinical committees, and clinical training sessions according to the project Communication, Monitoring and / or Training Plans.
• May assume Lead CRA role and/ or assist with LCRA activities, e.g., tool development, study plans, team training.

Skills & Attributes

Requires a BA/BS degree in the science/health care field or nursing degree or equivalent combined education and experience plus nominal clinical or related research experience some independent field monitoring experience. Requires strong organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills as well as a willingness to work within a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail is required. Must have valid, current driver’s license and ability to secure corporate credit card.

PREMIER FIELD ENGINEER - Windows Platform Technologies

In addition, the successful candidate must possess excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools - scripting, resource kit diagnostic tools and packet sniffers andor Netmon. Five or more years experience in systems development, network operations, and software support or I.T. consulting. Secondary expertise in more than one of the following products: Windows desktop Operating Systems, Windows server Operating Systems, Network Load Balancing, MS Cluster Server/Multi-vendor Cluster and SAN implementations, SQL, IIS, ISA.

Overnight travel is required. Travel requirements vary regionally and could be as much as 40-70%. Candidates must possess current passport or be able to obtain passport within 90 days of hire. They must be available for travel dispatch 24x7x365.

SALES MANAGER, OIL&GAS AND MARITIME INDUSTRY , MINING INDUSTRY.

Multinacional company engineering, manufacturing and distributing wire, wire rope, assemblies and electromechanical cable is hiring a SALES MANAGER for the OIL & GAS and MARITIME INDUSTRY AND MINING INDUSTRY market.


The hired Sales Manager will develop and execute the strategic plan to achieve territory sales goals, analyzing markets and sales trends to secure sales growth opportunities of wire rope products in the country, actively establishing important customer relationships.

The position will service key accounts, identify and assist in developing customer training materials, and creating and delivering corporate presentations of territory activities and plans. Promote process and build relationships within the Purchasing, Development, Quality and Marketing organizations within each account, manage annual product and pricing reviews and maximize profitability at each account, and work continuously to increase the efficiency and the effectiveness of every interaction between the company and all assigned accounts.

This position will be based in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo.


Responsibility

• Analyzes current markets, sales trends, and division results.
• Develop a sales plan and strategy to achieve established goals.
• Executes the sales plan to consistently build business in key markets.
• Coordinates with management to analyze and control profit margins.
• Develops annual sales budget in coordination with the Sales Director.
• Researches new markets and pursues entry into those segments, including sales responsibility.
• Coordinates with planning on production and inventory requirements.
• Visits customers and provide training as required.



Qualification
• Selling experience handling national accounts in the OIL&GAS AND MARITIME INDUSTRY AND MINING INDUSTRY or an adjacent industry with a similar selling environment, sourcing and logistic scope.

• Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements (including procedures, regulations and qualification requirements) and market conditions.
• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of company products/applications and the customer counterparty to deal the company business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and great listening skills.
• Commitment, enthusiasm and pro-active drive.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Business/Industrial related mayors like Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering), and experience in Oilfield field.

Requisitos:

Formação superior completa;
Imprescindível Inglês fluente;
Desejável Espanhol fluente;
A partir de 4 anos de experiência relevante na área de Negócios com players comerciantes chave na indústria de varejo;
Vivência no desenvolvimento de casos de negócio;
Experiência no segmento de cartões de crédito será considerada um diferencial;
Domínio de Word, PowerPoint e Excel.
