Customer

· Create / Ensure customer and vendor contract requirements are clear, correct and executable
· Identify new business opportunities with the customer Associate
· Visit sites according to the site interaction matrix, apply similar discipline to direct reports
· Take an active role in managing turnover to the appropriate level (among hourly and management staff)
· Provide for key manager development-succession planning Process
· Execution of projects / strategic initiative(s)
· Ensure the transfer of best practices throughout the area of responsibility
· Achieve agreed budget, revenue, profit (P&L) for the area of responsibility
· Ensure compliance to all accounting, operational, regulatory and administrative policies and procedures
· Monitor service levels to ensure that performance statistics meet customer and Exel's (Balanced Scorecard) contractual requirements
· Participate in the management and planning of regional initiatives to include: space, equipment, labour, systems, etc.
· Ensure resource management / equipment planning processes are properly defined, deployed and measured Decision Making Authority
· In accordance with approved level of authority as assigned by company policy (i.e. purchasing, staffing increases / deployment)
· Customer / Vendor requests are limited to the contract restrictions and agreed budget
· Incremental purchases against previously established P.O.'s and the creation of extra ordinary P.O.'s for routine purchases ( including capital purchases)

Internal

· Development and execution of strategy / annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOP's, customer plans, workshops, etc.)
· Operational support: (development and execution of specific functional requirements)
· Co-ordination of functional activities
· Resource management

External

· Contract terms and service performance
· Execution of strategy and customer plans
· Customer / vendor visits
· Regulatory / Governmental Compliance
